UNA-China held a Webinar commemorating the 75th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations

On 24 July, United Nations Association of China (UNA-China) held a Webinar commemorating the 75th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations (UN), with the theme of “UN’s setbacks and way out under the current situation”. The Webinar discussed the challenges faced by the UN and the role of China, UN peacekeeping and the reform of the global health governance system etc. Ms. ZHANG Dan, Vice-President and Director-General of UNA-China, presided over the Webinar. Five keynote speakers were invited, including Mr. CHEN Dongxiao, President of Shanghai Institutes for International Studies, Mr. ZHANG Haibin, Deputy Dean of School of International Studies, Peking University, Mr. HE Yin, Associate Professor of China Peacekeeping Police Training Centre, Mr. ZHANG Guihong, Director of Center for United Nations Studies, Fudan University, and Mr. XUE Lei, Research Fellow of Institute for World Economy Studies, Shanghai Institutes for International Studies. Some 70 participants, including honored members, board members, individual and organizational members, attended the Webinar.
