On July 3rd, World Federation of United Nations Associations (WFUNA) held an online meeting with United Nations Associations (UNA) in Asia Pacific countries. WFUNA’s Secretary-General and senior officials, representatives from the UNA-China, Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan and the Philippines attended the meeting and held in-depth discussions on the impact of COVID-19 outbreak on the United Nations and multilateral agendas, how WFUNA and UNAs of Asia-Pacific countries carried out work under pandemic circumstances and their future work plans.

Madam Zhang Dan, Vice President and Director General of UNA-China, attended the meeting. She shared China's experiences in fighting COVID-19, called for strengthening international cooperation and upholding multilateralism and criticized the US government for spreading "political virus."
