From 8th?to 9th?November 2019, the 19th East Asian Seminar on the United Nations System was held in the Republic of Korea. Participants?discussed?Digital Transformation and the Future of United Nations System，Peacebuilding on the Korean Peninsula and Security Cooperation in East Asia, Local Implementations of SDGs and Cultural Exchanges and Cooperation in East Asia. Ms.?WANG?Ying,?Deputy?Director-General of?UNA-China headed a delegation of scholars from China Institute of International Studies, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Beijing Foreign Studies University, Shanghai Institutes for International Studies, China Center for International Knowledge on Development to the seminar.

The East Asian Seminar on the United Nations System is an exchange mechanism of UN issues among China, Japan and the ROK. Since 2011, China, Japan and the ROK take the turn to host the Seminar. Japan will host the Seminar next year.
