On 10-12 April 2017, Mme, Zhang Dan, Vice-President & Director-General of the UNA-China, visited Shanghai and Zhejiang to learn the situation of Shanghai UN research and reserve talents training for international organization, and to inspect the preparation of 14th China National Model United Nation Conference(CNMUN) to be held in Zhejiang University.

In Shanghai, Mme. Zhang met with Council Members of UNA-China, President of Shanghai Institutes for International Studies Mr. Chen Dongxiao, Director of Academic Committee Mr. Yang Jiemian, Deputy Secretary of Shanghai International Studies University Mme. Wang Jing, Deputy Secretary and Secretary of the Commission of Disciplinary of Shanghai International Studies University Mme. Qian Ling, Dean of school of International Relations and Public Affairs of Shanghai International Studies University Prof. Guo Shuyong respectively. Mme. Zhang also attended the Roundtable with experts and scholars from 9 Shanghai universities and research institutes and exchanged views on the issue of UN research and reserve talents training for international organization. Then she presented flag for Shanghai International Studies University Student Development Association for International Organizations(SISUIO) and gave a lecture about international civil servants.

In Hangzhou, Mme, Zhang met with Deputy of Zhejiang University Mr. Zheng Qiang, Secretary of the School of International Studies of Zhejiang University Mr. Chu Chaofu, Deputy Secretary of the School of International Studies of Zhejiang University Mme. Shen Liao respectively. Then Mme. Zhang attended the Roundtable with faculty advisers and students of the preparatory panel for CNMUN of Zhejiang University, made a field visit to the facilities of CUMUN, and gave a lecture on multilateral diplomacy and MUN.
