2016 Trilateral Presidents’ Meeting of UNA-China, UNA-Japan and UNA-ROK and the Seventh China-Japan-ROK Youth Forum were held in Japan

From August 26h to 30h, the Trilateral Presidents’ Meeting of UNA-China, UNA-Japan and UNA-ROK was held in Fukuoka, Japan. Amb. Lu Shumin, President of the UNA-China,?Ms. Zhang Dan, Vice-President and Director-General of the UNA-China, attended the meeting. The three presidents exchanged views on the election process of the next Secretary-General of the United Nations, UN’s role in achieving the SDGs, the prohibition of the use of nuclear weapons, educational cooperation and etc.

From August 27^th to 30^th, students from China, ROK and Japan attended the Seventh China-Japan-ROK Youth Forum, in Seinan Gakuin University.

The next Trilateral Presidents’ Meeting will be held in Guangzhou, China, and the Eighth Trilateral Youth Forum will be hosted by Zhongshan University.
