On September 8th 2015, to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the Victory of the World Anti-fascist War and the founding of the United Nations, the concert of Voice for Peace by the United Nations Chorus, was held in Beijing Concert Hall. The Chorus performed Hand In Hand, Finally Free and other songs and the Chrysanthemums Terrace, the Jasmine and other songs in Chinese.

Mr. LI Zhaoxing, former Minister of Foreign Affairs and President of China Public Diplomacy Association, delivered a speech before the performance. President of UNA-China Mr. LU Shumin, Vice-president and Director-General Mr. LIU Zhixian also attended the event.

Founded in 1947, the Chorus, as the symbol of peace, has been giving performances in the world to spread the voice of peace and harmony. Members of the Chorus are from the UN Secretariat, permanent missions of member states to the UN, relevant international organizations and non-governmental organizations in New York.
