The Commemorative Stamped Postcard on the 30th Anniversary of Establishment of UNA-China was Issued

July 17^th 2015 is the 30^th anniversary of the establishment of the United Nations Association of China (UNA-China). To mark the day, the China Post Group issued a set of commemorative stamped postcard, "The 30th Anniversary of Establishment of UNA-China". On July 17^th, Ambassador Lu Shumin, President of UNA-China, met with the editor Li Jinwei, designer Yu Qiuyan, Photographer Ma Sa, Secretary-General of the Philatelic Association of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ma Xiaoling, Deputy Editor of China Philately News Zhang Huanxue and President of Dongcheng District Philatelic Association Liu Dayou. Ambassador Lu was interviewed by China Philately News. Vice-president and Director-General Liu Zhixian and other participants witnessed the meeting.

?President Lu Shumin expressed gratitude to the China Post Group. He indicated that the issuing of the postcard reflected the strong supports for the UNA-China and United Nations. He introduced the work of UNA-China. Lu also said that this year coincided with the 70th Anniversary of the United Nations. UNA China would, as always, continue to promote the realization of the purposes and principles of the UN Charter, promote research and publicity of UN, forge a closer relationship between China and the UN, and build a stronger United Nations and a better world.
