    On July the 20th, Mme. Zhang Dan, Vice-President & Director-General of UNA-China, met with Mr. Raúl Vega Montero, Member of the Directive Board of UNA-Cuba. Firstly, Mme. Zhang extended a warm welcome to Mr. Montero and presented a briefing on the work of the UNA-China. She pointed out that Cuba and China are friendly countries with similar stances on many important international and regional issues. Meanwhile, UNA-China and UNA-Cuba have been supporting and cooperating with each other under the framework of World Federation of United Nations Association.

      Mr. Montero conveyed the greetings of Fermín Qui?ones Sánchez, President & Director-General of UNA-Cuba. He briefed Mme. Zhang on the work of UNA-Cuba. He said that UNA-Cuba wishes to strengthen the cooperation and exchanges with UNA-China. It is hoped that Chinese students could participate in the Model UN Conference held every May in Havana in the future. UNA-Cuba will also be pleased to receive delegation from UNA-China. Mme. Zhang responded that UNA-China was ready to enhance cooperation between the two UNAs.
