At the invitation of the United Nations Association of China (UNA-China),?the delegation of Indian Federation of United Nations Associations (IFUNA)?headed by?Mme. Dikkanchi D. Shira?visited China?on 22-28?May 2017. President Lu?Shumin and Vice-President ＆?Director-General Zhang Dan of UNA-China met with?the delegation and exchanged views on the issues of United Nations, Sino-Indian relations, cooperation between UNA-China and IFUNA and etc. The Indian delegation also?held?a discussion?with?scholars from China Institute of International Studies.

Besides Beijing, the delegation also paid visits to Xi’an and Shanghai. Vice-Director Gong Guijun of Foreign Affairs Office?of Shaanxi Province and Vice-Director Liu Guangyong of Foreign Affairs Office of Shanghai met with the delegation respectively and gave them briefings?on the local economic and social development.
