Delegation of African Union Commission Visited China

From 24 to 28 October 2016, the delegation of African Union Commission headed by Amb. Tete Antonio, Permanent Representative of African Union Observer Mission to the United Nation, visited Beijing and Guangzhou at the invitation of the United Nations Association of China (UNA-China). The delegation attended the Symposium on Commemoration of the 45th Anniversary of the Restoration of the Lawful Seat of the People’s Republic of China in the UN in Beijing, and visited the Department of African Affairs of China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and China’s International Poverty Reduction Center. Ms. Zhang Dan, Vice-President and Director-General of the UNA-China, met with the delegation, and exchanged views on UN affairs and future cooperation between UNA-China and AU.
