Secretary-General Outlines Priorities for 2021
On January 28th, UN Secretary-General ´¡²Ô³Ù¨®²Ô¾±´Ç Guterres reported ten priorities for 2021 to General Assembly, calling for countries united together to tackle global challenges. Ten priorities are as followed:
I. Respond to COVID-19
II. Start an Inclusive and Sustainable Recovery
III. Making Peace with Nature
IV. Tackle the Pandemic of Poverty and Inequality
V. Reverse the Assault on Human Rights
VI. Gender Equality
VII. Heal Geopolitical Rifts and Find Common Ground
VIII.Reverse the Erosion of the Nuclear Disarmament and Non-proliferation Regime
IX.Seize the Opportunities of Digital Technologies while Protecting against Their Growing Dangers
X. A Reset for the 21st Century
